You are More Than 🎵 (your labels!)
Hi there beloved Reader!
I gotta confess: I was so stoked to write to you more about the idea of how you can thrive by taking positive proactive action, but then… our Internet went out for days.
Add in some sickness, long work days for the hubs, plumbing problems, skipped little boy naps, and less quality time for my family – it’s been a rough season.
Honestly?
It’s been a constant reminder of why Coffee Chats and Yoga Mats is all about encouraging each other to live intentionally with passion and purpose as God’s beloved.
Like you, I need daily reminders that I can live intentionally with passion and purpose – if I remember WHO I am and WHOSE I am.
Because that changes EVERYTHING.
If you’ve chosen to live life with Christ, your mistakes no longer define you. Rather, He defines you (You’re His beloved child!) and refines you.
Does that mean you’ll never deal with the consequences of sin? Mistakes?
Of course not.
Rather, you can let go of (as many times as you need to!) the labels: Failure, Loser, Too Much, Not Enough… and whatever totally FALSE stickers you’ve been carrying around.
You are beloved. That is enough. He is enough.
Bonus: A little singing encouragement…
Here’s “You are More” by Tenth Avenue North – enjoy!
What labels do you need to let go of? Hit reply – I’d be honored to pray for you!
Reader, live intentionally with passion and purpose as God’s beloved!

P.S. I’ll be in touch (for real!) with some quick tips for how to combat overthinking and imposter syndrome. Stay tuned!
I’m Cortney, a recovering over-achiever and God’s beloved who loves helping fellow Christian women like you embrace your God-given gifts so you have the confidence to live authentically.
I’m also a full-time mama to two sweet little boys, wife to my best friend, motivational speaker, and part-time Christian life coach. Chai lattes, strong coffee, podcasts, yoga, dance, and fairy tales nourish my soul and add sweetness to life.
Discovering the joy of embracing my God-given gifts and who He created me to be was a game-changer—a journey that brought freedom, unexpected delights, and relief from guilt. Finally, I felt free to be myself and ditch the pressure of being someone I wasn’t.
Incorporating those gifts into my day—from weekly planning to deciding on commitments, nurturing my marriage, and parenting—transformed everything. Now, I can’t imagine life without the perspective of fully embracing who God created me to be. I was missing so much without it!
