Dwelling on these Scriptures
Some of these are repeat hits from the December 2020 Lately List. These include:
Reading the Bible in a Year
If you’d like a pre-structured, carry it in your pocket read the Bible in a year plan, the YouVersion CCV: the Bible in ONE Year plan might fit the bill.
Memorizing one verse a week at mealtimes
Anyone else feel like you ought to know more Scripture by heart? Oh geez.
Well, my husband and I finally decided to start doing it than just thinking about it.
During our weekly planning, we pick out a verse to memorize together.
Every time we sit down for mealtimes, we recite it. Since my toddler and I also have snack time (awesome!), I recite and reflect on the same verse four times a day, seven days a week.
Honestly, it takes less than 30 seconds and is soul-good!
Give it a go!
