Enjoy your life more: Try this to become more present to your life
Let’s rock and roll into your next tip for living intentionally this week, Beloved!
It’s a fun one and requires oh-so-little time and energy.
You ready?
Tip to live intentionally: Notice when something fills you with wonder.
After all, part of living an intentional life filled with passion and purpose is simply being present to the life you’re living right now.
Tune into those little and big moments of wonder.
Just observe. Be present.
I’ll go first.
Lately, a few things that have filled me with wonder are:
- My husband’s grin. Ohmygosh it’s in the top 1000 things I love about him!
- Watching my son become a gluing-cutting-pasting pro in the past few weeks. He’s put together some pretty cool collages that are all his own style.
- Hearing my coaching clients talk about how working with me has positively changed how they see themselves and enjoying their strengths more. I’m in awe of how uniquely God has created each of us to be and adore seeing others shine!
Pretty easy, huh?
You can find more totally-doable feel-good thought prompts in the Intentional Life Journal Prompts, which are part of the Intentional Life Planning Toolkit, and designed to help you create space for personal growth and planning as God’s beloved (less guilt, more grace).

Cortney

I’m Cortney, a recovering over-achiever and God’s beloved who loves helping fellow Christian women like you embrace your God-given gifts so you have the confidence to live authentically.
I’m also a full-time mama to two sweet little boys, wife to my best friend, motivational speaker, and part-time Christian life coach. Chai lattes, strong coffee, podcasts, yoga, dance, and fairy tales nourish my soul and add sweetness to life.
Discovering the joy of embracing my God-given gifts and who He created me to be was a game-changer—a journey that brought freedom, unexpected delights, and relief from guilt. Finally, I felt free to be myself and ditch the pressure of being someone I wasn’t.
Incorporating those gifts into my day—from weekly planning to deciding on commitments, nurturing my marriage, and parenting—transformed everything. Now, I can’t imagine life without the perspective of fully embracing who God created me to be. I was missing so much without it!
