Equipment/space needed

You don’t need fancy equipment to do this. Supplies you might want to have on hand include:

  • Space on the ground or in your bed to comfortably move and stretch (like stretching your arms out)
  • Blanket, towel, rug, or yoga mat, if desired
  • Clothing you can stretch and move in

Remember this!

As always, these key points are essential to healthy happy movement, including relaxing yoga:

  • Be kind to your body! It’s the only one you’ve got! Speaking or thinking badly about it will only hinder you. (More research about that in future posts!)
  • Always, always modify as needed. Only YOU know what your body is feeling. So if something isn’t working for you at this time, dial it back. Modify.
  • Pursuing healthy movement is a gift you give yourself. Enjoy it. (And seek out healthy movement that fills you up! If yoga isn’t your jam, keep exploring and trying until you find your best-fit option).
