Coffee Chats and Yoga Mats exists to help you live intentionally with passion and purpose as God’s beloved.
What does this mean? Well, let’s define a few terms that will be used a lot around here:
intentional (adjective) – done on purpose; deliberate
living (noun) – the pursuit of a lifestyle of the specified type
living intentionally (my definition) – pursuing a lifestyle of being purposeful with one’s time, talents, energy and resources
Basically, I want to live life on purpose by being intentional with my time, talents, energy and resources.
Personally, I’m a work in progress when it comes to living intentionally.
Thus far, I’ve learned a few things about how to live intentionally that might help you, too.
Here’s a few things YOU can expect to see here:
Living intentionally requires giving yourself a flexible framework for doing life.
How often have you found yourself distracted by the many to-do’s on your plate? Has it sucked some of the joy from your days, relationships and personal pursuits?
Giving ourselves some flexible structure for managing our life frees us up to enjoy life more.
At Coffee Chats and Yoga Mats, we’ll share tools and tactics for your time and energy management, including:
Let’s be clear: your personality absolutely does not dictate who you have to or ought to be.
Head’s up! I’m certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) consultant and a self-proclaimed personality junkie.
As a result, I believe that you can leverage personality to be the best version of yourself.
Coffee Chats and Yoga Mats will not focus on which personality type is “better.”
Rather, we’ll discuss the in’s and out’s of personality, identifying our talents, and putting it together in real life.
Who doesn’t want to be in thriving, healthy relationships? In family, romance, friendship, work and more?
Sometimes, though, we’re holding ourselves back from healthy, thriving relationships.
Perhaps we’ve picked up some unhealthy, limiting mindsets. Or maybe we’ve got some unhelpful habits in relationships.
At Coffee Chats and Yoga Mats, we’ll encourage each other to challenge those unhelpful mindsets and habits.
Let’s bring our best selves in relationships!
We can’t do life alone. Neither can we purse an intentional life without community and resources.
At Coffee Chats and Yoga Mats, I’m committed to providing you with helpful resources to support you along your journey.
These resources may include:
Each of these resources will be thoughtfully chosen to help you be more intentional with your time, talents, energy and resources.
We can learn so much good from other writers, speakers and dreamer-doers!
You’ve got resources to share, too? Those are welcome, too!
Finally, in order to pursue an intentional life, you’ve got to be… intentional.
At Coffee Chats and Yoga Mats, that means sharing handy resources, thought shifts and tactics on a regular basis.
Y’all, I need the accountability! More importantly, it’s so fun to share how to make life more satisfying!
The more we engage together, the more we can grow together. Woohoo!
My aim is to provide you with content rich information that empowers and encourages you to live your life on purpose.
