Here’s how to make a ridiculously easy Javy Coffee Dirty Chai Latte at home to inject a little bit of fancy coffee shop vibes into your life. #drinkjavy
Some of my most treasured memories have happened over a leisurely cup of coffee or tea. These days as a stay-at-home, I’m far less apt to go to a coffee shop for a leisurely cup of joe and prefer to make my own coffee and tea at home.
Chai Lattes and Dirty Chai Lattes have always been one of my favorite “fancy” coffee shop beverages of choice. But I hadn’t quite figured out how to master this delicious beverage without brewing multiple pots of caffeine.
But… then Javy Coffee reached out to me to try out a new recipe with their Javy Coffee concentrate.
A super simple way to make iced or hot coffee? Add a kick to tea? Count me in!

By the way, if you don’t read any further than this – You can live intentionally with passion and purpose as God’s beloved. Perhaps you intentionally enjoy a coffee chat. Perhaps not. Regardless, you are so deeply loved!
Alrighty… let’s do this!
Basically, a Dirty Chai Latte combines the following ingredients:
I enjoy how the sweet cinnamony flavor of the Chai tea gets a flavor boost from the espresso. (In this case, just a smidgeon of Javy Coffee!)
Javy Coffee is a microdose of coffee, i.e. coffee concentrate. The company recommends adding 1-2 teaspoons of Javy Coffee to 6 oz of water.
The company gets its coffee beans from a region in Colombia known as “the coffee belt.” The beans are artisan roasted, then the aroma is extracted using a steam extraction system. Want to know more? Here’s how it’s made.
Prior to the company approaching me about a partnership, I’d actually been fantasizing about a simpler way to enjoy fancier coffee at home with less mess and less effort. After all, being intentional is a big part of not being a hot mess mom!
Currently my favorite way to drink Javy Coffee is part of this Javy Coffee Dirty Chai Latte recipe.
I don’t need to brew coffee or make espresso, which I’ve failed woefully at on my own. 🙁
I haven’t quite nailed down my preferred way of drinking Javy Coffee cold.
To me, it tastes a bit too much like instant coffee when added to plain cold water. But – I’m having a lot of fun experimenting with it!
You’ll first want to make your chai tea. You can:
You’ll need the following equipment:
To be honest, I get really impatient with frothing my milk over the stove or in the microwave.
Invariably the milk gets burned or explodes.
Talk about a lousy way to start your latte break!
Personally, my favorite milk frother does it with minimal interference from me. I can’t find it online, but here’s some other milk frother pitchers that might suit you!
Whether or not you’re a caffeine kid, I just want to remind you of these truths:
You can live intentionally with passion and purpose as God’s beloved.
Be intentional with how you spend your time, your energy and resources.
If this recipe helps you save a little bit of each in your life, that’s amazing! If not, that’s okay, too!
Let’s add a bit more of the “coffee” to Coffee Chats and Yoga Mats!
Let’s get real. How do you take your coffee and tea? Curious about other Javy coffee options? Let’s talk in the comments!
