You don’t have to ask permission for this.
Hey there, Beloved,
I’ve overthought what to share with you so dang much it’s kind of embarrassing.
Because there are SO MANY simple tweaks we can each try to carve out more mental, emotional, physical, spiritual… the “-als” space in our lives. And they don’t have to be complicated, cookie-cutter style, or “just another thing to do.”
In fact, what it looks like for me to “live intentionally with passion and purpose as God’s beloved” is likely going to be very different than what it looks like for you.
… which is the big idea behind today’s email: You get to decide what “being intentional” looks like for you today. And you don’t have to ask me or anyone else for permission.
Real quick: We’re talking about healthy, not sinful choices.
For instance, let’s talk about morning routines.
Let’s say that Tiana is someone who’s more energized in the morning after working out, so you prioritize carving out the time to move your body.
But her friend Jenny needs a cup of coffee and time with a book before she dives into the day.
And her neighbor Anne knows that she’s at her best when she has some time to journal before diving into #allthethings.
Are any of these morning routines better or worse than the others?
The answer is no, though you might prefer one over the other 🙂
Do each of these routines require intentionality?
Heck yes.
Are they still life-giving and helping each person put their best foot forward?
Yes! And that’s part of the magic of getting clearer on what “being intentional” could look like and matter for YOU. You customize it. You make it your own.
And you ditch the guilt.
