He came so that you could THRIVE.

Dear loved-by-God Beloved…

My yoga teacher mindset is kicking in, so let’s say it one more time with a big deep breath.

Did you know that Jesus came so that believers (hey, that’s you and me!) could have life to the full (i.e. a life full of purpose and passion)?

Let’s read Jesus’ words:

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they [my followers] may have life, and have it to the full.
John 10:10

Think about it.

Jesus came so that YOU, Beloved, may have life, enjoy it, and have it in abundance,”to the full, till it overflows” as the AMPC puts it, or as the TPT version describes it – “more than you expect.” (Which then brings up the question: What would it look like for you to live on purpose? Daydream about it and hit reply with what comes to mind!)

Isn’t that incredible?!

He came so that you could THRIVE.

Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll be ridiculously wealthy, famous, or wearing all the latest most stylish clothes.

It does mean:

Because of you (God, Jesus, Holy Spirit), I know the path of life, as I taste the fullness of joy in your presence. At your right side I experience divine pleasures forevermore!
Psalms 16:11 TPT

As a follower of Jesus, you can experience divine love in all its varied forms:

But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions:
joy that overflows,
peace that subdues,
patience that endures,
kindness in action,
a life full of virtue,
faith that prevails,
gentleness of heart,
and strength of spirit.
Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.
Galatians 5: 22-23 TPT

Talk about living a good, rich, “I’m thankful to be me” kind of life, right?

So when you find yourself wondering, “There’s got to be more to life than this. I was made for more.”

You’re not wrong.

Maybe the thief – aka Satan – has been stealing something from you that he was never meant to have… which just might be your sense of purpose and passion.

To start taking it back, try these 2 things:

1) Pray about it!

2) Daydream about it: What would it look like for you to live on purpose? Hit reply with what comes to mind!

Beloved, live intentionally with passion and purpose as God’s beloved!

P.S. If you’d like some help exploring what a life of “purpose and passion” might look like for you, I’d love to help you do just that with Christian life coaching.
