Try this to become more present to your life
Hey beloved!
How’s it going with tracking your wins? Did anything surprise you?
A few wins on my own list have included:
- A great night’s sleep! (Raise your hand if this can be fickle for you, too!)
- A little boy who started his day singing, “You just call on me, sunshine!” (My tweak to “Lean on Me”)
- Prioritizing a date night with my sweet husband (DIY wine bar date at home!)
- Powering through a quarter’s worth of business growth work in a month – now I can dig into the really meaty stuff to better serve you! 🙌
Some of your sweet little wins may be things you can influence (like where you focus your time and attention) and others are just… gifts.
My next micro challenge for you is to just notice when something fills you with wonder.
After all, part of living an intentional life filled with passion and purpose is simply being present to the life you’re living right now.
Tune into those little and big moments of wonder.
Just observe. Be present.
Pretty easy, huh?

I’m Cortney, a recovering over-achiever and God’s beloved who loves helping fellow Christian women like you embrace your God-given gifts so you have the confidence to live authentically.
I’m also a full-time mama to two sweet little boys, wife to my best friend, motivational speaker, and part-time Christian life coach. Chai lattes, strong coffee, podcasts, yoga, dance, and fairy tales nourish my soul and add sweetness to life.
Discovering the joy of embracing my God-given gifts and who He created me to be was a game-changer—a journey that brought freedom, unexpected delights, and relief from guilt. Finally, I felt free to be myself and ditch the pressure of being someone I wasn’t.
Incorporating those gifts into my day—from weekly planning to deciding on commitments, nurturing my marriage, and parenting—transformed everything. Now, I can’t imagine life without the perspective of fully embracing who God created me to be. I was missing so much without it!
