Embarrassing, survivable mistakes
Hey beloved,
This is a friendly little nudge about giving yourself grace when you have setbacks on your journey to living intentionally with passion and purpose as God’s beloved.
… and you might make embarrassing, yet survivable mistakes, along the way, too!
Boy, though, isn’t that a relief? – Many mistakes are survivable.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve made LOADS of mistakes that were absolutely mortifying, like getting literally stuck to my car by my swishy skirt and THEN locked out of my car for an hour in a random town when all the locksmiths were about to shut down. Yeesh.
Thankfully, I haven’t let THAT mistake define who I am.
God defines who each of us are – not our mistakes. And he says we’re beloved.
Amazing!
So, beloved, this is your little bonus “it’s okay to make mistakes” nudge.
Mini sermon done. And if you’d like to share a goofy mistake, too, feel free to hit reply 🙂
Live intentionally with passion and purpose as God’s beloved!

I’m also a full-time mama to two sweet little boys, wife to my best friend, motivational speaker, and part-time Christian life coach. Chai lattes, strong coffee, podcasts, yoga, dance, and fairy tales nourish my soul and add sweetness to life.
Discovering the joy of embracing my God-given gifts and who He created me to be was a game-changer—a journey that brought freedom, unexpected delights, and relief from guilt. Finally, I felt free to be myself and ditch the pressure of being someone I wasn’t.
Incorporating those gifts into my day—from weekly planning to deciding on commitments, nurturing my marriage, and parenting—transformed everything. Now, I can’t imagine life without the perspective of fully embracing who God created me to be. I was missing so much without it!
